It's Monday--Decision Day

I talked to my daughter last night and she and my son are supposed to talk to the oncologist today.  The Dr, at the Hosp. turned off the respirator yesterday, to see if my ex could breathe on her own.  She can't and he turned it back on.  She has gone from a 6 hour, to a 4 to a 2 hour and, now ,she is on a constant morphine drip.  My son and daughter want to talk to their mom and get her input on when to shut off the respirator.  They can only leave the respirator on for 10 days and then they have to hook up a trach.  Her mom does not want that so, they want their mom's input so they will have peace with the decision when the time comes.  Their mom can't talk but she writes notes and is coherent and shakes her head yes and no.  There will come a time possibly when she can't do this so, they want to know her decision.  I made one more request to have my daughter ask her mom if she wants to see me, "yes or no".  If she says "no", I am willing to accept that and have peace about her decision.  Just keep us in your prayers.
God bless all of you.

Well, Praise the Lord , She now wants to see me and she asked my son if I would pray with her. I am scheduled to go Thurs. Tomorrow they have a lawyer coming in and writing up a will so she can sign it. She is also signing her two last pay checks, her car title and is picking an executor for her estate. She said she wants to get that all done tomorrow and then see me Thurs. God Answers prayers.
