It's going too slowly

I joined this site with the idea to start a process I guess. that was in my mind. I join I do this I do that and there is a lot of people on this site and groups that I can join. So I joined some with no feedback at all from them but it's only been one day. Well two days counting my first effort of starting my own group.
 
I guess it's to be expected. those groups there is almost 1,000 of them. any one person can join as many as 30 according to my understanding. I'm making an effort but no returns so far. at this date 31-09-2015
