It's been forever since I've been here!

Happy to say to all you newbies, life does go on and it can be better than you've ever dreamed.  I have a wonderful man in my life (have had for 3 years now), travel as much as I can (been to London, Paris, Kenya for safari, Dominican Republic and am going to China in November), I am more myself that I ever thought possible and I truly have moved on.  When I read back on my journal entries I am so sad for that person -- no one should ever feel so hopeless and alone.  But people came though for me and saw me through all the shit and here I am.

This is not to say that I am not still fucked up in some ways.  Past baggage always leaves a mark and I am no exception.  My biggest thing is that I cannot go anywhere unless I drive and can leave whenever I want.  I cannot even commit to staying overnight at my boyfriend's house. I get there, we have a great dinner (he's a wonderful cook), settle in for a movie with every intent of staying and suddenly, I have to leave.  I go to a family picnic, having a great time then, boom, gotta go.  When I even think that I might have to stay somewhere (even somewhere I like), it makes me anxious, I can't relax and I freak out.

Does anyone else have this problem?  As I said, it's in all areas of my life.  I don't think I am agoraphobic although I do like being home more than anything else.  Any ideas?

Can I just say that I get anxious when I am leaving town. Two years later and when I get on the highway heading out I cry and get anxious and just very nervous....I thought it was just me
