It\'s been awhile....
Same ol' same ol' with T-Man regarding school. He served one in-school suspension for skipping out of school last week on Tuesday, was tardy Wednesday and forgot to serve the after-school detention that same day, today he was supposed to have another in-school for another day of skipping but...he's home sick with a bad headache. I am assuming he'll be serving it tomorrow - which means he's missing even more class time. The up-side is he's not using right now. I called the assistant principal and left a message on his voice mail.....telling him that "on paper" at school things haven't improved very much but - at home he's better, for what it's worth. I wanted him to know that I know T isn't using......because he's home a lot and barely uses the computer. At least that the way it's been, lately. I still can't believe I talked to a Hollywood movie producer/actor. He just made a movie recently (says he's not sure when it'll be released) about suicide ?depression prevention. I got his cell # from a friend, whose friend is friends with him. Follow? Anyway, my friend urged me to call him because I'm offilated with a suicide prevention group (volunteer) and thought I'd find this fellow interesting. Well.....had I talked to him another time.....perhaps so .....but he had jet lag and was exhausted. I asked him if I could call him again when he wasn't so tired and he said yes. He is very passionate about this cause because he lost a friend 8 years ago to suicide. I hope I get to meet him someday. I will ask my friend to ask his friend to ask him if it would be alright. follow?

Maybe a new semester coming up-starting with a clean slate so to speak-will help T be more motivated with school. I know he is a bit behind but at least he can start the classes fresh and not have to dig himelf out of bad grades. Cool about the movie producer! Hopefully you can \"really\" talk to him in the near future. Have a good rest of the week!
