It\'s been a while!

Well I have not written in my journal in a while so I thought it would be healthy to give an update for my own sake and my friends.  I have been on lamictal for several months now, and it has been a godsend for me.  I have been able to establish a balance in my emotions and my condition seems to be getting better. The only problems I seem to have is with my memory and concentration every now and then.  I am on Kalanopin also so I think that is what takes the concentration away and memory. I need to try and stop taking then unless I have too.  I am afraid though because my body is very immune to them and coming off or even reducing my dosage can be dangerous.  For the most part my progress is a hella of a lot better than it was 3-4 months ago.  I must add I have been working out and taking a supplements approved by the FDA called IntraMax it is 100% organic and it gives you all the vitamins and minerals your body needs to function well.  I have also been making a budget with my SSDI for the months to come along with things I need to accomplish such as seeing friends working out etc.. I am somewhat scared in a scense because my Medicaid runs out at the end of this month, I am trying to reapply but I doubt that they will give it to me. I don’t understand how you can be on disability but not be insured for 2 years.  There are absolutely no insurance companies that will insure someone that is bipolar even if they exclude the disorder and just insure you for other reasons such as cancer / heart disease etc.. So I have made an oath to myself to just try and be as healthy as possible if I am not going to have insurance. I mean there are millions of other people that have it worse than me, I seem to be in pretty good shape at the moment but the way the world is today there is no telling when that can change at the drop of a hat.  Well going forward I pray that I can keep my progress up with my mood and health.  Also if you are reading this pray for me that I will get to keep my Medicaid till Medicare kicks in , in 2 more years. Just incase something drastic happens.  Oh also by the way I just bought some Tickets to see Nine Inch Nails in August as long as I am still kicking and making it I am very excited to see this show. I went 2 years ago and it was probley one of the best times I have ever had in my entire life.  Trent Reznor is probley one of the most talented artists of this century.  Well wish my luck with my health. Keep the prayers that I can keep some insurance. Thanks everyone for being my friend.--Nick
