It's Becoming So Easy.... Peasy....

This minimalist way of life is really starting to become my THANG... I can even tell a little bit of difference in hubby. He is trying harder, too.

We are both learning to clean and do as we go... and not just wait unti Saturday to do our chores... that's they way I've always thought in the past... but now I am doing small chores each day.. and they are adding up... I like it very much. each chore usually takes less than 5 minutes. honestly. it's amazing and things feel DONE and not piled up... 

I am watching The Style Insider on youtube and she has a LOT of things to say that are very helpful. I follow some of her tips already... and starting to pick up more. I am finding that being motivated is not hard at all. Today hubby and I had all of our shopping done and errands ran by noon. WHAT? That never happens. ... Not that I didn't do anything else... but I had already picked up most things that I wanted for the day and we bought chops for the grill... yummmy. 

I bought a journal and started a Bullet Journal today... I've always wanted to take a stab at it... but the vids are very very intimidating... so i decided to just do my own thang and see how it goes. 

I like organizing... so I did break it up into month lists / house dreams / things to finish / things to get/ budget / house budget for new projects / and cleaning tips / minimalism. It is fun so far... I like messing with things like that and as long as it fits into my purse. 

I passed 3 garage sales... no desire to stop... ok...well maybe a little .. but i didn't. 

I've applied for a Discover card . I hope it comes soon. I am going to stop carrying a debit card... I watched a vid interview w/ Frank Abignail and he said it is the most dangerous thing ever handed the American consumer. So... if he says it, i believe it. Going to switch it all to a credit card. i need to build my credit back up since the Short sale on the house .

We went to a new coffee shop in town... called Rock n Roll Coffee ... very very cool place. It wasn't quiet... it played 70s rock and all that... memorbelia all over the wall so RnR groups... very fun. it opened on Wednesday. 

Planning a trip to CO in Sept w/ my mom. I think it is going to be fun w/ my daughter. It will be cooled off and maybe we can go to the mountains for a day trip. That will be nice. She has enough room if we all hold our stomachs in... tiny studio apt but very posh. my mom will be impressed.

I've picked out colors for the kitchen wall and cabinets and the accent wall in the LR. I looked and I have quite a bit of paint left from other projects... so it might stretch some. I might try to use it this coming week and see it it covers that turquoise in the LR.

The color I am wanting for the kitchen walls is sage.... something like a light olive color... something light and compliments white and burlap. I have a burlap color for the LR that is left over from the hallway that i did about ... a zillion years ago.. i don't know if the paint is still good. 

much to do... a lot of fun planning... and loving every minute of it...
