It's Almost That time...

Well, in less than 24 hours I will be totally moved out from the home that my ex-fiance had shared, a home that I have shared with an ex-wife and a home that has seen me be a bachelor for 5 years! I am so looking forward to getting out of the "pit of disrepair" as I've now nicknamed my old home, the new home is nicknamed "salvation"! It's just shocking at the energy difference between the two places, it's staggering. This place, the old place, is just bad memory central right now, due to the fact that my ex-fiance was the most recent person to share my home, therefore being that she is the bulk of my visual reminders and small memory flashbacks.
But the new place, my mind was having a hard time at first, it was still trying to lock on to possible visual reminders but it couldn't, there were none. It felt real good and nice for my mind to take a couple hours rest, now knowing that it was inside a place that had never been shared by me with anyone. It was just all mine, no ones ever cooked in the kitchen, but soon it will only have been me. No one else has sat on the toilet seat, soon it will only be me. It just feels great to be blessed with this opportunity to be able to at least put almost every aspect of the "physical world" behind me, and perhaps then my emotional side will have time to heal.
It's a real shame my ex-fiance didn't honor her words way back when and told me that she was "in this for life"! She would have liked the new place I had picked for myself. Tons of tree's, tons of nature, privacy, second floor, big kitchen, big master bedroom, just about everything that is there is pretty much what she bitched about what was wrong with this old place. But I guess that's not really important, she's gone, stuck in her bedroom, on the computer, talking to people she thinks are real world friends and playing video games! Me, I'm enjoying this real life situation, nothing about it is virtual, and now it just boils down, from here on out, what I, and I alone think of things!
I hope the relocation of my two cat's is a success tomorrow, because the cat that was my ex-fiance's still isn't handling the separation from her Mommy very well. I am hoping that a change in venue switches the cat's thinking and perhaps will focus on new things, that way perhaps the cat can cope and move on!
I'm just darn right excited, haven't been this happy and excited with something for months! Well, time to get out of here and go finish packing up my old bathroom, the kitchen is done, and so is one of the bedrooms, I can't wait to do the final walk through with Rental Staff on Monday, look around a minute and tell the memory ghosts that have been haunting me here a final "goodbye"! Tune to the manager, drop my old key s in her hand and close the door and move the hell along with the next chapter of my life.

Congratulations Aaron on a new start in life. Sounds like it will be healing for you. Physical reminders of the past do make it hard to move on to the future so nice to leave all that behind. I have a bunch of pictures that I am supposed to be copying and giving back to my soon to be ex wife but I am sort of scared of the memories that are going to come flooding back to me as soon as I start looking through 30 years of pictures. On the other hand I don\'t want to just forget about everything in the past. At least pictures with my kids in them.
