It's a whole new life
Well I think it's starting to sink in. After the long hard battle to get here the surgery is finally over and I am on my way to the kind of life I have always wanted. I am on the way to discovering who is hidden underneath this extra 125 pounds of flesh. What will I look like? How will people treat me? Who is "me" without having to compensate for this huge flaw which has been percieved as weakness and laziness among many other deogatory things. I know that weightloss is not a panecea for all my problems but what a blessing to not have to drag around an extra 125 pounds while trying to deal with those problems. Happy Birthday to me!!!!

Hope, huney.
Irrelevant of what others might have thought of you or how you became bigger than normal you will inspire to show them their is a healthier and happy person under all that outer skin...
You will, as I do, wake up in the mornings happier and raring to go.
What you have done is something for you, those around you who really matter will reap the benefits as you find the new you...
Live the dream, enjoy something you probably have not had in years, grow in confidence and shine like the star you are and always have been, just this time it will be in a smaller frame...
Enjoy, it really is a miracle.
