It's a marathon, not a sprint
It's been a week since I was discharged from the hospital after the 2nd worst crisis I've suffered. I'm bored being at home with nothing to do but watch TV and surf the internet. Today, my big excitement is driving downtown to go to a doctor's appointment. I'm sure I will be exhausted when I get home, but i guess that is what I get for living in the suburbs, huh?
I'm still waiting to hear if my Rituxan therapy is approved by my insurance. I've failed pretty much every other therapy, so I don't know why they would deny…but you never know.
I need a hobby that I can do that won't tire me out - any ideas? I have some photos I took back in May that I need to download and edit. I may try to work on that later this afternoon. When I was feeling good, I would take photos of my son's baseball games. I really enjoy photography and hope that I can get back to it when I feel better.

There\'s a book called \"Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.\" It is an interesting description of brain organization and what happens in split brains, but what is more fun is to see what you can do with drawing when you bore the left side. She has lots of before and after pictures from her students and you might be rather amazed at your own. Since the left side is the tile keeper, there is no time in which to be bored while you are drawing --as soon as the left side gets tired of saying \"this is a waste of time.\" :-). Most of our left sides are very bossy. b.
Time not tile. I draw better than I type. :-). b.
I\'m in the same boat with Rituximab. Still waiting. Going for second opinion to give more proof to insurance that if 2 MG docs say we need to try... And Beth, I have wondered why I like to draw!
Thanks you guys!! It is HOT here in Houston. I\'m pretty much stuck indoors unless I get in the pool. I should try painting or something. I usually don\'t have much time for hobbiesso I guess I should take advantage. I did just download a book from Amazon. I love WW2 history - has anyone else read \"Unbroken\"? I\'ve read it twice and love it.
I just bought it -- movie looks intense.
Wellness,
@Bamboolilly - can\'t wait for the movie!! I also hope Laura Hildenbrandt writes another book soon. She wrote \"Seabiscuit\" and I loved that book as well. :)
