It never seems to end

I've been doing pretty good these days, far as my heart goes.  Since being taken off of Plavix, my energy level has escalated.   I'm happy about that, but when one thing seems to be on the right track, another falls apart.
I'd been having pain in my feet and, after three months, my PCP finally sends me to a podiatrist.  Not something I was wanting to hear.  He examined my feet and. In his words. "it's about as bad as it gets". He said "normally" I'd be sent to the hospital for surgery but, because of my medical history, they would refuse to do surgery because it's too dangerous and I wouldn't survive it. The technical term for my left foot issue is Stage II Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction. Since I am ineligible for surgery he has prescribed a specially fitted, heavy duty foot brace for me. Once I get the b...race I will need to wear it "any time my feet hit the floor". Dr O'Quinn also recommended a different type of tennis shoe that offers better support and cushion.

As for my right foot the only way to be certain what that knot is is to do biopsy. Before that though he prescribed a ointment that I will need to apply daily. If the bump is what is known as a Plantar Fibroma then eventually the ointment will help to slowly decrease the lump and lessen or get rid of the lump. He did warn me that it could take months for it to show any improvement. If there is none or if it gets worse he will schedule a biopsy.
I go back to my Podiatrist within three weeks of wearing the brace. It may or may not help. Either way, my foot will not get better but maybe, just maybe, we can keep it from hurting so much and, with any luck, I'll be able to get back on the treadmill after a few months.
