It is nearly 12 years since the day we met
My Joe
I try every day to be stong like so many on this site. I pray for you all the time that you are happy and strong. I feel like I am holding on to you and not allowing you to be at peace. I am scared.
I heard from your friend charlie and they made me smile. They are the only ones who call to check on me and to talk about you. I love when people talk about you. It makes my heart leap. THings need to be finished here and I hope you are proud that I got prices and hopefully did not get ripped off!! I can hear you telling me not to pay for silly things that can be done easily..Easily by you...surely not by me. I just stare at them and I am sure you are laughing from heaven watching me figure out which tube of caulking is right for each project. Saturday the kitchen window will finally be finished off. Keep you eye on that guy doing the work for me and guide his hand to do it right. I would never know the difference~~~
Now Joe, the toilet, oh the toilet...what do I do? Yes you know you left that pipe leaking with the bucket under it!! Now I find out it is too old to get a pipe for so I shoudl buy a new one? BUT, the new ones are small white...so it will stick out from the wall by 3 inches. I had to measure the base to the opening to find out I need a 14 inch. Are you impressed or what? Think I may become a plumber next! Who needs that masters of public administration when I coudl become rich as a plumber!!
Love you so so so very much. Miss the simple things like you knowing how to handle these house issues. Miss cooking and having someone to sit with at dinner even more. And thank you for shutting the cable box on and off last night over and over. Whatever 8888 is, I thank you. And we need to talk about that 11:11 thing on the clocks. At first it was making me afraid to open my eyes and always see 1111 on the clocks. Someone just told me that you were sending me wishes. So my wish is that you are in peace forever and that peace can find its way to my heart also. Silly journal entry, but you see all that is happening here and I can hear you laughing at me. ME~~~~

Thought you would also like to know this about the # 8
In Christianity, it signifies a new beginning.
When the whole earth was covered with the flood, it was Noah \"the eighth person\" (2 Peter 2:5) who stepped out on to a new earth to begin a new life.
Circumcision was to be performed on the eighth day (Gen 17:12), because it was the foreshadowing of the true circumcision of the heart, that which was to be \"made without hands,\" even \"the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ\" (Col 2:11).
This is connected with the new creation. This is illustrated by the facts that God designed the eighth day to begin a new week.
It may also signify grace.
David is also the 8th Son of Jesse.
The 8th day is eternity.
Hugs,
Your friend,

You make me smile. You found something more than just numbers in my nights with 11:11 on the clocks and last night with the cable box turing itself on when I was tryin to sleep. At first it kept say 8888 each time then it finally went off and stayed off. I just looked up and asked joe if he would stay there with me till I fell asleep.
May have been the rain but the 1111 on the bedroom and then living room clock has happened for two weeks now. I was afraid to say anything figuring it was my mind, so I told Joe lol...thank you for making it sound like a newbeginning. Love you Ann
Ann, I had to smile at your post when you spoke about the toilet. You see I have a toilet that Melvin was suppose to fix in the basement. It was on his honey do list and honey didn\'t do it.
Judy very insightful comments.
Hugs, Anne
I so relate to those house things he did, and some things he was supposed to do I had to get done...sigh but....amazing how resourceful and talented we did not know we were...Big Hug
