It is Final and legal
My attorney called today to tell that my divorce is final and legal. He had a copy of the decree and it had the courts stamp of approval. He said that I would get a certified copy in the mail in a few days. Every one asked me if I was doing the happy dance...not really but was so glad that it is finally over. Now I can really start to move forward....change all the stuff at work, insurances and all that. So how does it feel ... just relief.... no sadness no overexcitement, just relief...... thanks Jack

Hugs to you. It has to be hard. It\'s a loss of a lifetime love. Even if it was really bad in the end it was great in the beginning.

I glad it\'s over for you so you can move on. I don\'t for one minute think a happy dance is in order. Only those who have never felt this kind of pain wouldn\'t understand how the final papers are the end of a lifetime of love. You know it\'s time to look forward to brighter, happier days and from what I\'ve read in your posts and responses, you are a wonderful, caring and sensitive man. I wish you well on your new journey.
Congratulations!!!! I\'m so glad to see there\'s hope for me after all. I know after reaching the decision to separate, there was no real grief...guess I\'ve gone through it already by slowly realizing the marriage was dead over a long period of time.
