It is coming off slow.

I set my goal weight to be achieved by september 30, 2009. That date is only 179 days away and boy has the weight slowed down. I knew it was going to happen. I had hoped for another good monthe of weight loss. I am greedy when it comes to this. The reality to it all is that exercise wis going to be the key. I  need to be procactive with this. My motivation for it is null. I mentally hate exercise. I keep making excuses as to why I am not doing it. SOme of them are legitimate but most is pure laziness of moving my A#@.  I want my husband to go with me and he is my main reason for not going. Not because he doesn't want to but because he doesn't get fired up about it. This is a pure lame excuse. THIS IS A PURE LAME EXCUSE! THIS IS A PURE LAME EXCUSE!!  If I keep saying it maybe it will sink in. Oh I don't know.  I guess my biggest accomplishment this week was the fact that i walked in the MArch of Dimes walk with the school I teach at. I was dreading the walking. But to my pleasant surprise I  walked it and wasn't even winded.  That felt good.  Is that considered exercise when it feels good to do that? I know consistency is the key here. Geez! I am rambling and feel like I am floating in the world of I hate to exercise!

I am there now wanting to exercise to relieve stress and have a mental break but not feeling the motivation. How cool to walk in the March of Dimes walk!! You go girl!! You have come so far and I know you and you will make your goal happen!!

Hi Sharmon,

I just wanted to let you know that I use my husband as an excuse too. I want him to walk with me and we never seem to find a time when we both want to. My daughter wants to walk with me, but she sprained her ankle last week and I fell 2 weeks ago and re-hurt my knee. I DID walk all over (all over being at my standards-I\'m about 40# lighter, but still weigh where you started your journey) at Meyer Gardens Friday, but my knee got all swollen and really painful. OUCH! Maybe a bike would be easier for us both :-) kathy
