It has WALLS!!!

My house I mean. The sheetrock has finally gone into the house, which means prep and paint, and then  flooring and then appliances. The front of the house where there was actual damage looks funny though. The siding looks like shingle siding, where as all the other siding looks like long board style siding. I wonder what genius thought up that. These guys can't get the house built fast enough for me. On the hotel register I found out the insurance company has us set to check out on Feb 1st, which I so sincerely hope is correct, although I would be happy with a sooner date. XD
I just hope we can survive these next couple of weeks..LOL

Still waiting to hear back from my doc about the second opinion for surgery. I want surgery, I am sure of that. But I have certain ideas in my head about it that unless a doctor can explain to me why not, I see no reason to budge. I want to give myself the greatest chance for non reoccurrence  I possibly can. I feel like an extra inch or two (or 4!) of skin can help keep this HS monster from coming back in that area..I'm willing to give it up. Rehab is gonna suck..but it would suck worse to go on like this with no possibility of an end in sight.  Even though I know there is no guarantee that this will keep it from coming back in that area EVER again, just the thought of a brief reprieve, oh Lord.
Couldn't get my daughter a tablet for Christmas like I wanted. It sold out too soon before I could get up the cash. So I bought her a laptop instead. She's happy with it, but I know she really wanted a tablet. The ones we were looking at were like the Ipads, but without the god awful $600+ tag price. Now I have to listen to my son fuss about that at times, even though he just got a PS3 and some games to go with it. First time I have ever had that happen. But then again too I know how my son is about computers and consoles and gadgetry. XD Hope it's not setting up for something. LOL
I'm starting to wonder if I am starting to go through menopause. I freeze when everyone else is comfortable. I'm comfortable when everyone else is freezing. It can be 68 degrees in the hotel room and I wake up covered in sweat. But then again I am the heaviest of everyone in our hotel room, and the HS sometimes has me running low grade fevers...so I am really not sure...just know that it SUCKS! lol..Mainly because heavily sweating like that guarantees me a breakout somewhere. Hell I've had aliens come up overnight, like the heat from my body just incubated the bastard to the surface....UGH!
My mother in laws brother just informed us yesterday that HIS house now has bedbugs..have fun with that one....I ain't going back there again. Thank you but no thank you. It's almost poetic justice, except for the fact that his girlfriend is having to live through it. If it was all just him, it would be so sweet. But we told him when he picked up all his junk off the back porch that it was infested with bedbugs. Well oh well we got told his garage wasn't even attached to the house, it's completely separate... well la-tee-fuckin-da...them buggers move as fast as damn roaches, they can get gone quick..and all it takes is one. And you can battle them, but unless you take out the colony..your just pissin in the wind, so to speak. I swear it was so hard not to laugh when he told me, how the hell I kept my composure I will never know. After having brought the damn things to the house and then abandoning everyone of us to have to deal with his mess without his help..it is like Karma waited for the perfect time to strike. Here we are getting ready to move back into the house, and here he has been, nice and comfy up to this point, in his nice big house (really his GF's house) with all his good times..and now he has to deal with the bedbugs anyways. He thought he escaped them, he thought he had got away without every having to really deal with them. He thought wrong. I know no one wants him to come over to the house when we move back in for the fear of one hitching a ride on him to our house..that would SUCK so immensely. GOOD LORD don't let them 6 legged bastards back in our house, please. We paid our dues on that one thank you very much sir.
I've been breaking out pretty badly here lately. Three on the inside of my right crotch to the point where the whole right side is swollen..feels like nasty elephant skin or something. And my rear is having a go at it again, and my pits haven't stopped. I'm just SO over HS, I mean really..do you HAVE to be so relentless? Is it really that necessary? I know at some point I will get somewhat of a break maybe, it's hard to keep hoping like that though, especially in the throes of a really bad flare.

But it has WALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!......now get to painting an layin that floor boys..we're MORE than ready to come home.

p.s. Think the strokes screwed up MIL's head a little. I expected it, I see it, although hubby doesn't apparently see it to the degree I do. But he does see some I guess. Our house had pitches over the two bay windows..she swears up and down it did not before. Even after showing her pictures of the house before the fire. I don't know HOW I'm going to breach the subject of FINAL stuff with her, you know, where to find everything when she passes. I know the FIL won't know squat really, he don't even know how to fill out a check...and in NC there is no such thing as "common law" husband and wife...so he would have no right to do anything anyways. I just want to make sure that her final wishes (cremation/burial ect) go through like she wants, and that things she wanted protected for her grandkids to be protected and done with the way she wants it done. She was informed a long time ago that I don't want a thing she has, although it was not put very nicely. Mine and her sense of style are complete opposites, jewelry she thinks is nice, I think is gaudy, large and tacky. Large chunky rings are not my thing unless you're wearing a larger biker ring and are fixing to plant it into someone's forehead. LOL  I don't like necklaces that look like they could double as a bolo weapon..XD And I don't like large earrings that look like they could carry a half a pound of C4 in them if hollowed out properly. O.o...just not my thing....Oh one more thing...IT HAS WALLS!!!!!!!!!..LOL
Hey now..I did mark this entry as RAMBLING...you were warned. I'm just all over the place right now. Don't know if I'm coming or going..and having spurts where I'm losing what day it is. I thought today was like the 8th...found out a little bit ago how far I was off. But I'm always OFF ROFLMAO!

Glad to hear about your WALLS!!! For your surgery even if they take extra skin it seems like a good surgeon could do a tuck on the under arm skin to get some more skin to use.

Ah! When the Walls come up, it feels like the end is near. So glad to hear you may be back in your home soon. I definitely agree with you about it being worth it to lose more skin and fix it right. Definitely worked good on my left arm. I know it\'s a little late but hhgregg was sailing $100 tablets. they are small though.
