It goes on

I had a chat with the lawyer yesterday.  He indicated that it would be a long process and probably costly but I feel it is the right thing to do.  I just wish Harvey had done something sooner.  I didn't want to tick him off (he is my graddaughter's dad).  He is the type of person who believes that if you ignore something it will go away. It was his fiance who has gotten him moving.
I spoke with Lisa's friend (the nurse who read the chart and is convinced that there is a good case).  She said that a fellow had died prior to Lisa - same surgeon, same surgery.  It was like a kick in the gut.
So my life is an emotional roller coaster again.  I loved the Camino - perhaps I was meant to go there because I need emotional resources to get through the wedding and deal with lawyers.
My Sweet Lisa:  You didn't deserve the pain.  I miss you always and love you forever. Mummy

If you need to pursue this dr,,, go for it,,,there might be others that follow, or you could save another mom this grief...

Marlene, I agree with Nora. You may save another mom this grief. I put in a formal complaint to the coroner\'s office in Boston because of how we were treated by that office and the fact that an autopsy report on a previously healthy 37 year old shouldn\'t take 8 months. Once toxicology was ruled out there are only so many things that take a 37 year old\'s life. And they lost our paperwork 3 times. I wanted to save another family the added pain & the overseer of that office agreed that we were maltreated & agreed to change certain policies. I think this is a good thing to pursue. I wish you the best of luck as you go forward. Love to you and precious Lisa, Linda

It IS a possibility that if YOU speak out...others will too. You need to do what feels right for you...love and hugs...Karen
