It gets better everyday

So day 28 of 35 of rehab and I have done a complete 360° turn around, it's been 49 days since my last drink and that's something to be proud of. I am proud of the fact that I took initiative for the program through the VA,  it's mandatory to put on a AA meeting once a week and it's hard for us to find speakers, so I reached out to AA's district office and set it up that they will send a speaker every week so the program won't have ro find one. I made my mark and an everlasting impression on the staff here and helped the program long after I leave.  I owe thanks to a few people who have helped me realize there is more to life than being miserable all the time. I stood tall and made a change, and for that I'm very proud of myself. Hugs to all and to the two special people on this site who have helped me very much.Bug hugs to you thanks
