It Gets Better

I'm trying to constantly remind myself that it's going to get better if I just give it enough time and effort, but it's hard to grasp the concept. I'm still in the hole as I was last time, but I've gotten a better grasp on how I can fix it and while I won't end the semester at where I was hoping, I will hopfully end it in a place where I can do things far better than I did this time. The important thing right now is getting to a place where I don't lose my scholarship.
I want to describe my scholarship in a little more. I have found it is much more than just getting a full ride to college. They are a family and they welcome you with open arms. They want to help you succeed. I finally sucked up my fears and went to one of the events they had going on and I met the nicest people. Several of which have reassured me that their first semesters were about the same as mine. I even more don't want to let them down. They believe in me and I want to believe in myself.

*hugs* Congrats on getting a scholarship! I never went to any of the meetings (if they had any) for scholarship people at my school (USC). I had a breakdown my sophomore year and ended up losing mine.. I was lazy and thought that I didn\'t need to study. Good luck in college! You can do it! *hugs*

I am very, very, very, very proud of you, regardless of what. It is tough, but you can do it. All you need is yourself and to focus on your small goals. They build up. No energy gets wasted. Let me know how I can be of any support.
