It could be worse

My new acquaintance is ten years younger than me. Her daughter is older than my kids. She is living with her “delightful” boyfriend and his family because hers is toxic and he sabatoges her work and financial situation. Her daughters father (not the boyfriend) was also abusive and was fighting for custody. He died in a motorcycle accident this week.

My daughter has been horribly sick but I kept her this weekend despite my soon to be exes bullying. Shes still sick but her fever is tamed.
