It Broke

GRRRRRRRRRRR. My washer Died.  How dare it when I haven't had time to do laundry for days and days.  And they can't fix it until the 30th of April.
I had to go to the Laundrymat for the first time in YYYYEEEAAARRRS.  Yikes, have they changed.  We only have two in town one is really scuzzy and the other is really different.  It doesn't take coins or bills in the machines.  You have to use a credit card thingy that you have to use a special machine to put money on the card.  WEEEIIIRRD.  But it is exceptionally clean.  Very expensive.  Was over $30.00 to wash and dry 4 loads.  Granted one was Jeans and one was the comforter off my bed. ( the old lady cat barfed, bless her little pea pickin' heart)
The whole experience wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  You never know what will happen in this old life.  Cause off I headed to get the clothes clean mummbling and grummbling cause my feet hurt, the dude didn't fix my washer and some one needed to pay for all this extra output, we have insurance, I have no idea how to use a modernday laundrymat,  blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada.  Some where in the tirade I ended up praying that if God didn't see the need to heal my feet could he please help me smile through the owies.  And I'll be danged it he didn't.

When I finally got everything into the place, I looked out the window thinking that car out there looked familiar.  Humm, maybe Gloria is here and if she is maybe she can help me figure out how to use these blasted  machines. (  Shawnahad shown me a week before but my memory is short and I slept since then and we had a busy week since then etc,) Well, who would of thunked it.  Gloria was not there. But Steve was. Humm.  We've know Steve and Gloria for 15 years, I must say, he is one of the last people I expected to see in a laundrymat.  But we said our how you do's and he wanted to know why I was there. (they live in a RV.)  I told him what happened (without the mummbling and grummbling).  He offered to show me how to work the machines and get my little card set up.  (Shawna had shown me)  But he was being so kind and helpful I just kept my mouth shut and let him help.  To make a long story less long. I got the laundry done. Got home. Dennis fixed most of dinner and my feet are less swollen today.   Maybe next time I have to do something don't want to do I will skip the mummbling and gummbling and go straight to the smiles.  Sounds like a lot more fun and a whole lot less stress.

I know what you mean about Laundromats being expensive Elsie, it\'s no different over here, I feel sorry for those who have to use the dryer as well.
Soon have yours fixed though. i havn\'t seen one that takes a card yet, ours still takes coins, or tokens.
have a happy afternoon.
Love you.
