Think about this for a minute...

If I happened to show up on your door step crying,
Would you Care?

If I called you and asked you to pick me up because something Happened,
Would you come?

If I had one day left, to live my life;
Would you be part of That last day?

If I needed a shoulder to cry on,
Would you give me Yours?

This is a test to see who your real friends are or
If you are just some one to talk to you when they are bored . .

Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes?

They blink together, they move together, they cry together,
They see things together and they sleep together,
BUT THEY NEVER SEE EACH OTHER... that\'s what friendship is.

Your aspiration is your motivation, your motivation is your belief,
Your belief is your peace, your peace is your target,
Your target is heaven, and life is like hell without FRIENDS.

It\'s \'world best friends week\'.

Lord, Keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth...AMEN

Just starting the journey that you started last year. My husband of 33 yrs (together 35 yrs) passed on 3/16/08. Having gone thru the experience of loss with my parents, I have a fair idea of how hard this journey will be.

Still - I know it will be a lot harder, because I had him by my side when my mother passed. Crazy as it sounds, I need him by my side now, to get thru this period of adjusting to losing him.

No doubt about it, losing the love of your life is agony. Only way not to suffer is to turn back the clock and not meet the person you lost.
So - as much as I hate the way I\'m feeling, I wouldn\'t give up a moment of the time (good & bad) that I had with my husband.

Gotta say, this is one of those times when the only ppl that can really help, are those who have - or are - going thru it. Those who haven\'t, have no idea of how long this journey takes - and expect us to bounce back faster. Ain\'t gonna happen - although we can behave as if all is well, we can\'t feel it.

Have you checked out the Widows/Widowers Group. I think you may find a lot of help from the people in it.

Going to send you a hug... Take care - you\'ll find the help you need to get thru each day.
