Is that my egg or your egg?
Ok, so we (DH and I) had an appointment with our RE.He spoke at length about donor eggs and what levels my FSH and ASH need to be in order to use my own eggs. I gotta tell you. It is really expensive. Its like 11K(my own) versus 30K(donor).You can't put a price on happiness. However when it comes to IVF you can! This procedure is like a car (either its an economy sub-compact, or a base model Lexus with nothing in it). Ironically we leased a Camry today because the other one was up.My amazing husband did not even bat an eye. He is so sure that we're going to use "our own parts". Right now, since I haven't seen AF since surgery 4 weeks ago, "more assembly is required" for my ovary. My DH hugged me today and I swear I will do anything just to have our children. Oh, and I DID NOT CRY during the entire consultation. I felt a little choked for a second, but then I stuffed it back down.I still suffer the hot flashes, but it definitely not as bad if I do not have any Wheat grass for the day. I really believe in them. I bought $30 worth the other day. We're on our way to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. Since I just had surgery, I did not have to do dinner this year (very happy). I get to see "My Sweet Baboo" nephew who is 21 months and is just wonderful and running around everywhere and saying "No" to everything.I'm so excited to see him.Well, that's it for today. I thought I was going to have something deep and philsophical, but I'm just taking it one day at a time.Happy Turkey Day! maybe this time next year, I'll be so exhausted from carrying babies, or delivering babies, or feeding babies, I won't have time to cook for Thanksgiving. However, Thanksgiving will a much different meaning.
