IS IT YOUR GLANDS?

Saw a post about excess testosterone possibly being cause of weight gain, also speculation about polycystic ovary syndrome, abdominal weight, etc. It is NOT ALWAYS AN EXCUSE. Some people do have medical issues.  By the time I was finally able to get doctors to listen to me, I was huge and had suffered a heart attack and irreparable emotional damage.  In addition to excess testosterone, I was found to be severely hypothyroid. That's all water under the bridge now.  Even with endocrine help, I know I must continue the calorie fight as long as I live.

It is sad to think a Dr. does not listen their patients. When we moved a lady from the area told me if I got sick to go to a Vet. first. After my first medical problem regarding a skin rash I found her statement to be true. So I choose to drive 60 miles to continue to see a Dr. I trust.

Go to a VET first? You mean a Veterans Hospital or a Veterinarian?
