Is it Time, Yet?
I am still sleeping in most beloved sis's junk room. Well. . . It is not so junky any more. Now it is an actual sitting room, complete with space for my support dog's bed, but I am still here, 3 days after the projected take-off date. Each time I get ready to load the Boy Toy, most beloved sis gets that pained look on her face and I remember just how flexible my current schedule is. That pained look isnae the memory I wish to travel on.
The pained look wasnae so bad last night when we discussed this morning as the departure time, but it was still there.
Rapid mobilization remains my strong suit. I can be packed and gone in less than 20 minutes. Part of my secret to rapid mobilization is an understanding of the diff between moving fast and hurrying. Hurrying while moving fast is an effective way to crash and burn. Moving fast with calm deliberation covers the needs with efficiency.
Most beloved sis is worth the wait. I am aching for my river time, but the rivers will still be flowing tomorrow or even next year.
Small steps, big faith and lots of prayer.

I know she's your most beloved sis, but don't let her use that against you, okay? Big purrs of puma power, and maybe you can find a rainwater stream to dance in...?

Love the 'river'... I bet your sister will really miss your support...my organized pandemonium way of doing things is still challenging for me, but getting better as I have less clutter around me...take care, m
It's a special trip when neither the guest nor host want it to end... Enjoy it.
This particular sis (I have 5) gets to play the need card without feeling like an adversary. The relationship between us is honest enough that we can discuss just about everything in therapeutic depth, even when we disagree.
She still carries a challenging load which is far from resolved, but we decided it was time. This morning finds me on the edge of the Allegheny Reservoir after a meandering drive up the Susquehanna River.
