Is it really only 10 days since my last post?

Ohhh my has it been a long week or what?? One of Clint's friends brought him down her last Wednesdy arvo and he stayed til Sunday afternoon.  His flatmate came and got him, so I was really lucky I didn't have to do any driving.He still had a bit of a sore throat and was feeling a bit funny on and off but improving slowly. Well I get a text just as I arrived at work on Thursday morning from him telling me he was back in hospital.  He had haemorraged overnight and been taken by ambulance to the hospital.  They kept him in again overnight, and he came home this afternoon.  The poor kid was hooked up again to an IV and  had another one ready for blood transfusion (just in case).  Looks like a blood clot had come loose or something and a vein was still bleeding and had to be cauterised.  Then he had to stay overnight, eat breakky and lunch and then he was allowed home. Thank god for his flat mate.  Seems he should be ok now, though, the poor kid. In the mean time..... with shit hitting the fan at work, I had a late Board meeting on Tuesday and then attended a community meeting of about 300 people, to hear what the supposed "owners" of our hospital plan to do with it.We didn't finish up til 10pm, and silly me hadn't eaten dinner before I went.  I took 15 pages of notes!!!  No wonder I had writers cramp.Since then I've done nothing but meet with the Board, speak to the CEO of the other mob, and talk to the bank to try and get things sorted out.Still trying..... Last pay didn't go through until the Tuesday after the Thursday it was due.  We have a public holiday Tuesday and the pays should be processed Wednesday, and at the moment still no agreement.  It is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway...... my blood pressure is finally starting to go down a bit - yay, and I am down to 37.5mg of Efexor a day- yippee!  I just have to stop eating crap and I'll be happy.  Workcover is giving me the shits, nothing new there.  I have to go for another friggin assessment and I'm still waiting on an answer about them continuing paying my bp meds.  Just pay for my treatments and meds and leave me alone and I'll be happy and be able to function.  Not  rocket science you morons! Well, enough from me - I'm pooped.
