Is God testing me?

I am just at the end of my strength once again. I can not cope anymore! This made me wonder if God is testing me again? I have failed so many times in the past, and I'm failing miserably now.

People mean well when they say things like "Stay strong, things will get better", and "Tomorrow things will look much brighter". But I know for a fact that it is not true!! Not in my life anyway!! Better times come and go, much too quickly, and then I'm back again in this deep misery called life! I must surely be doing something wrong, or maybe even everything wrong in my life! If God is testing me, then I'm just a miserable failure!

Oh Andelene, you are not a failure & doing the best you can with your circumstances. Any strength you have is a gift from God & at that moment He is carrying you. I\'m sorry you are going through so much, but Our Lord is always there walking by your side.

I cannot imagine how difficult your days must be & watching your sweet beautiful child continue to get worse. How heartbreaking for you. It breaks my heart that you do not have support from those around you. Have you asked your church for help & prayer? Sometimes we don\'t know what will be helpful until we are told? I would be most happy to send you greeting cards if you would like?

There is nothing I can say or do to really make your situation better, except rely on Our Heavenly Father.

As Jean said, the good Lord is by your side through these hardships and walking the difficult path with you. It\'s difficult to do, but you have to reach out and get some help. Surely there are organizations, churches, assistance through hospitals, or something you can get some assistance from. I know it\'s not the same as here in the U.S., but surely if you approach your church, someone there would step in to give you a break.
I am praying for you and Colleen, and sincerely hope you can get a break from the stress of caregiving. Lots of hugs, Dan

Thank you so much for your support, Jean and Dan! I contacted my mom, and she\'s coming over to help me in the 2 nd week of December. I\'m not reaching out to people, because I\'ve been hurt and rejected too many times before, and I\'m not prepared to risk that ever again. I know that suffering alone is my own fault, but it is better than being rejected over and over again! Yes, our Lord Jesus is the only One who understands, supports, loves and forgives without rejecting us.
I just love the soft teddy bear hugs, Jean!
