Is America in Bible Prophecies?

Is America in Bible Prophecies? While we all know that Americans hold on to a certain kind of patriotism and also patriotic pride, how many of us can point to verses in the Bible and say, "That's what America stands for." We are a country that believes in freedom and for that reason we always elect leaders who believe in these things. I have found in my own family, people will not stand up for freedom; they will rather go along with the status quo because of their pride.

We are proud people but our leaders have turned to Bibles Verse to try and explain away their failures. The fact is that there is no excuse for failing to take care of the poor and sick. Every Christian nation has taken care of these people. God gives the rich power and is willing to give the poor He will take care of them. For those who fail to keep their word, they shall fail.

So how many times has America faltered in his promises? And how many times does America in Bible Prophecies. I can't think of anything that shows up as a failure more than the failure to provide enough aid for the poor? America has never failed to fulfill her promise as a nation to help its citizens.

How many children in America do not have food? How many children are without clean clothes? If the economy was like the Bible, these children would be as well off as the rich.

As it is, they are not so lucky. Now, I understand that it is so very important to have the United States Military so it can defend the country. I really do not understand why the United States of America would fail in its promise to take care of her citizens. Perhaps if the military is the only part of the government responsible for the welfare of the American people, then we need to start looking at those generals in the Marines.

If we cannot rely on our leaders to protect the little children who starve to death, perhaps we should start looking in our own Bible verse for God's Word on this matter. In the Bible's Old Testament, we find many references to leaders leaving their lands and traveling to foreign lands to find greater wealth. Yet at the same time, we read that the poorest among us should be given the most attention, food, clothing, and shelter. There is no way to reconcile the two passages; therefore, I have to conclude that there is a contradiction.

If the government is so worried about political correctness, why does it have churches working hand in hand to fulfill the responsibility of taking care of the needy? How can you say that religion will fail in the United States of America when the Bible says nothing of the sort? It is difficult to admit that our country is in serious trouble, but it is easy to take it upon ourselves to look for solutions in Bible prophecy verses.

Why should we be expected to do so? We are a proud nation, and yet, we are afraid to admit that our nation is falling behind in her promise to take care of her citizens. Many Christians believe that this failure in the lives of the poor is simply a sin and something we should never let out. If you believe that; then you may be looking in the wrong place.
