"Irritable" uterus
I guess it's an actual diagnosis. This is a preggo update so if you are not up to reading.
Started NST. Baby is very active and great heart beat. Last Friday, I had another NST. The nurse running the test kept asking me if I was ok. I finally said... is there something wrong??! She said I had been having contractions the whole time! I had no clue. I wasnt having any pain other than a little bit of an achy back.
So, they were concerned and my OB check to make sure my cervix was closed and thank goodness it was. She told me to be on bed rest for the rest of the weekend and pay close attention to whether I was having contractions or not, if I had more than 5 within an hour or any other new symptoms to call the office and they may have me to go to hospital.
So, I layed around all weekend and Sunday I started having what felt like very BAD menstrual cramps. I called the office and they told me to get to the hospital labor and delivery to be triaged. So, we went Baby was good but I was having very active contractions and they gave me a shot to make them stop.
Long story short, I will continue having 2 NST's and cervical checks per week to make sure I am not going into pre-term labor. They said I have an irritable uterus, which I thought they were just being funny but it's a real thing. I feel much better now after my last visit and glad they are keeping such a close eye on things. I will be 33 weeks tomorrow!!! i can't believe I am this far along. I am so blessed and thankful. I hope everyone is doing ok out there.

Hang in there! Sorry to hear of your irritable uterus! Darn. It\'s great that you got the shot, I\'m sure it will help. They can still do the steroid shots as well which just gives the baby a bit of a boost, which helps with any pre-term issues. Being 33 weeks is fantastic and every day you can check off is great.
I hope you hold out for many more weeks!!
33 weeks! Things are getting super exciting for you friend :-) I am so thankful that they are tracking you so closely too. I will be thinking of you and praying things stay put for just a little bit longer though *HUG!! Keep us posted.

I loved having weekly NSTs so I could hear the twins hearts. I always got drowsy listening to them because it was such a soothing sound!
I am glad they are keeping a close eye on things! Rest up girl, that little one will be here before you know it (just hopefully not too soon)!
