Irritability
Irritability means that I am able to be irritated. And I am exercising that ability today. My co-worker is driving me crazy. I can't even look at her, I find her so annoying. I am pretty sure this is half a function of her personality, and half the stim meds I started on Saturday. The whole of me is very happy that Friday is my last day at this job. So this is the third round of IVF, and I feel that I have the routine down. It's so far down, in fact, that there have been many days when I've almost forgotten to take the shots. Fortunately, I haven't completely forgotten. Yet. The shots this time are memorable. Instead of Menopur I'm taking Repronex, which is supposedly a generic version. The nurse said they usually prefer Menopur because Repronex is not as pure, and it makes a red welt at the injection site. Apparently Menopur is not as readily available as it usually is so they're now prescribing Repronex. So that hurts some. It also hurts because I've gotten cavalier. I haven't been using the ice pack before the subcutaneous shots, because I think I'm over it. But really, I'm not all that over it. Last night after the Repronex and Follistim, uniced, I had to go back and get two ice packs and retroactively ice myself down. Damn, that hurt. Update on my co-worker: intolerable. I can't take this much longer. Thanks for tolerating my crankiness, my dear friends!

Just wanted to let you know that I\'m thinking of you. Good luck with the shots. I\'m keeping my fingers crossed.
I thought repronex stung. I didn\'t have that with menopur. It all stings, either physically or mentally, though. I wish you all the best this cycle.
