Irene
Waiting anxiously for irene to arrive. We were told to prepare for a possible 3 day power outage. So we stocked up on flashlight batteries today. We live in a moble home and it was suggested we leave until after the storm. It looks like its winding down a little. We survived Hurricanes Bob and Gloria OK so I think we will be fine. We will leave if we absolutely have to but not looking forward.
We have satelite internet so if you don't see me online, you will know why but don't worry, it will all workout! Going to an AA meeting tomorrow so it will all workout.
A special friend suggested I write this and let others know who are interested or are wondering about people in Irene's path of which I am one of them.
I remember delivering 500 daily newspapers in Bob and Gloria and having my chainsaw with me and cutting trees out of the roads so I could get through to do my job! Was I tough or an idiot? Probably a little bit of both! Glad I don't have that job anymore!
So my point is, I will be fine. Please don't worry!
