Inventory y Nada Mas
Anybody can do the good days. It's the bad days which tell the real story.
Here in the second month of project delays and missed family visits, I feel fully justified in my disgruntled state. Can we get this friggin' show on the road, already!?!? Surely you aren't gonna let 14 inches of snow and 4 inches of ice get in your way!!!!
Still, I am finding comfort in the belief that I am holding steady through the rough patch. The anxiety attacks, anger bursts, et al, have responded well to my therapy exercises. Steady as she goes, Cap'n.
Last communique with the contractor promised a full crew here next week. Where have I heard that before? Reaching for a balance between healthy skepticism and trust, I wait. Don't tell me. Show me.

In their defense...it has been really cold and they may have been having to deal with dead car batteries, frozen pipes, etc. Not just in their own homes, but also in the homes of their mothers, sister's and friend's house. Kids home from school, etc. Stuff ripples downhill. Sometimes stuff happens on "country time".
The contractor thanks you, Patti.
triple hugs and here is crossing fingers that their talk becomes their walk this week.
