Internet Coaches - Are They Worth It?

Internet entrepreneurs may discover a lot of company tips on the Internet. . .sometimes too much. The advice is often contradictory, or too general to be of any real use.

Anyone who's ever actually attempted to conduct a business knows that decisions have to be made on a case-to-case basis. What works for one person will not necessarily work for internet coaching. You have different sectors, different markets, different opponents, different resources.

Sometimes you read the articles on the web and think,

It is not a light decision to make, considering that your whole company (and this month's lease!) You may have invested your life savings, and let's not overlook your workers --and the paychecks they depend on you to supply.

Get a Business Mentor!
Do not gamble your company on a vague tip. You need a real mentor, someone who has the experience, the skills, and the attention to look at your particular business requirements and distribute the appropriate advice.
This company mentor can answer your questions, point you towards the right path, and generally allow you to become more effective as an Internet entrepreneur.
I have personally been working together with my Marketing Coach, Terry Dean to help build successful companies online including my most recent project, SonomaCountyAirport.com. We met in a seminar in Las Vegas and it is now a year and a half I've been at his coaching program.

Almost anyone can put up a site and call himself a company mentor. There are certain qualities to look for in a good mentor before you choose the one that is right for YOU.
1. Look for Knowledge. How do they answer questions? What examples do they provide? Has your mentor "been there, done that"? Ensure that your trainer has triumphed in what they will be teaching you. .
2. Start Looking for Honesty. Some coaches are full of fluff, spinning words just so you hear what you would like to hear. You don't need someone to pat you on the shoulder--you need someone who's simple, even brutally honest, since they are attempting to assist you in the long term.

3. Start Looking for Dependability. How much time does it take for them to reply to your emails? My coach, for instance follows up within 24 hours, or even a couple of hours to all my queries.

4. Start Looking for Relevance. Does the information really help you, or does this sound like it had been pulled from any old textbook so they can say they met your part of the deal? Make sure internet business consulting is structured, up to date, and your coach really personally helps you at each step.

5. Look for Service. Do they personally attend to you, or do they ship their helper? You're paying for their know-how, not a chance to become best friends with their secretary. You will want to find somebody that not only personally helps you--answering emails, speaking over the phone every month--but really makes you Believe That your trainer is concerned about the progress of your business
