Interesting Night
About 3:30 a.m., a guy tried to break into my apartment. He appeared drunk because his speech was slurred. I asked him who he was twice, and then he finally answered. What I don't get is that after he tried to do what he did, he was able to stand still without appearing all slouched over. I was thinking that all the bars let out between 2 and 3 a.m., so he had to come from one over there while trying to look for his place and then came to my apartment thinking it was his. I told him, "I don't know you," and he respected that and left. I did manage to get a description of him. He appeared to be college age with blonde short hair and about 5'10". He wore jeans and a striped button down shirt. I know what he looks like, and if he tries to pull something like that again, the cops will be called if he does not leave the premises. I got to thinking about it, but I demonstrated the power and control that I lost a little over 9 months ago, plus I was smart by not opening the door because he acted like he wanted me to let him in, but I refused, thank God for that. I feel empowered, and am praying that this does not happen again. I did talk to someone on here immediatelly and later my fiance' called, afterwards I was able to sleep. However, I only slept maybe 2 hours the entire night, and that is going to hurt me a lot.

I\'m proud of you and how you handled the situation. I would even take it a step further and notify management office, because you should also want to know who he is and where he lives in the building. Now management should not tell you where he lives due to confidentially, but they should speak to the tenant about that matter-his behavior! Maybe when the person is awake/alert they might apologize to you, so remember that..not expect it, but be aware He may remember and want to apologize along with His embarrassment.
Just wanted you to be aware in case that may happen!
you handled that tremendously well! i wouldn\'t have slept so well after that either....but God is good and gracious and will continue to be Your strength.
You handled that very well! Good job!
Isn\'t life interesting!!!!
Oh, I am so happy that God protected you through all this. I am also heppy that you were strong and held your ground. I was anxious reading through all of this, and relieved that he did not do anything to you!
