Insult to injury...
As if my life weren't going bad enough right now, I woke up at 5:51 this morning with a cyst rupture. This is the first one I've had since my surgery and by far, the worst. I thought my poor husband was going to have a heart attack while I was on the ground screaming and crying until the vicodin kicked in...and it really only took the edge off. It still hurts like hell. I have an emergency appointment with my RE in about an hour...I'm hoping it was just a cyst and not something worse. He did say he saw something in/on one of my tubes, so I'm praying that I didn't burst one of them. I'm honestly kind of terrified that I'm going to get sent to the hospital for emergency surgery.

Just got back...he gave me a script for Percocet and said he will talk to his secretary about moving my surgery up as soon as possible. He felt my belly and did some tapping and said he\'s pretty confident it was just a cyst and not anything tube related. So far this isn\'t cutting the pain quite like Vicodin does, but he was worried that I would develop a dependence because I\'ve had to up my dose to get any relief. Then again, I only took it 25 minutes ago so maybe I should just give it a little more time.
hugs hun i am so sorry this is happening to you i really hope they can get you in sooner for your lap ..... maybe we will be lap buddies :) I hope he is right and it was just the cyst nothing more detimental and hopefully the drugs kick in soon
