Follow Christ, not Ayn Rand (an atheist). Put your trust in God. The \"hero\" is your awareness of, and obedience to, He who suffered humiliation, rejection, and ultimate horrific suffering and death for you, for me, for us. The \"spark\" is your soul, given to you and created by the God who rules the universe, whose thought contains us all, every single one, and the entire of creation. It\'s not true that \"twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn\'t do than by the ones you did do\". When a door opens, it\'s true that walking through it is often the best choice but one must use discernment. I always said that when I got old I didn\'t want to regret the opportunities I chose NOT to take but some of those doors were wrong, I know that now but there\'s no such thing as \"too late\" in the eyes of God. \"Explore, Dream, Discover\" yes but with integrity, ethics, honesty, charity, humility and an awareness that I ABSOLUTELY KNOW TO BE TRUE: you WILL someday be face to Face and you WILL see the suffering you caused (at the time with no intention to harm) as well as those many times (hopefully) that your choice of behavior made someone\'s life easier, happier, more secure, and most of those times you won\'t even KNOW you\'ve done it. Trust God, He is REAL, I have personal experiences so vast that I could fill books. Remember that to love God before all others and then to love your neighbor as yourself (which means you MUST LOVE YOURSELF as God loves you) is the Rule of Life.
