i don't walk like you, can't 'run and bring'
i don't sound like you, even when i sing
i don't look like you as i sit around
i pretty much just stare at the ground
 
i may shuffle as i walk
and... i may drool as i talk
i may shake as i try to hold still
and... i may empty as i fill
 
i may not be able to see the sun rise
clouds of blindness may fill my eyes
i may not hear the tides come in
for sound may not penetrate within
    BUT....
memories are made from what we sense
experiences both pleasant and those that are tense
we may be different this is true
but deep inside we're the same as you
 
we all have challenges me and you
yours aren't visible this is true
but when we search inside our hearts
we see that's where beauty truly starts....
