Inspiration, her name is Inga!
Reading Inga's journal about getting together with other Ohio moms has inspired me. I'm all ready to go, armed with my cards from Karen from the retreat. I am not good at this sort of thing. I get shy and freeze up. Wish me luck. What types of places do you think I should go to? I really need some AZ moms.

Yes this idea has inspired me also. Believe it or not I grew up shy and afraid of everyone & everything..It was when I started working in a hair salon, and then owning my own, is what helped me come out of my shell...I would love to get together in my area too. New Hampshire is my home area, one hour northeast of Boston Ma...I\'m sure there is a group of moms who get together through other groups too. The reason I say that is, I was talking to a mom I knew years ago, as I was growing up, her daughter had died 16 years now..She told me she has a group of women who get together every other week for lunch.. I thought that was really neat...Although this lady had just passed away a couple months ago, she was around 80 years old. Her daughter was 31 when she got killed in a motorcycle accident...

Go for it! I have two local moms that I meet with and they are so vital for my healing and well-being. Neither of them is interested in FMO at this time yet they understand it\'s here. It will happen as soon as you set your intention, I believe this. Let us know how it goes! Hugs, Joanie
I say go for it too. I could barely use the computer, let alone \"chat\" or go online for support three years ago. I didn\'t know what to expect and how wonderful to find this site. I think you may just have that same type of experience meeting mothers in your area. You can start here by finding the moms from AZ then locally you could post a flyer at centers where they hold group meetings etc. Best of luck. Robin
