Insomnia sucks but remember your goals and desires
I had another abysmal sleeping night last night. It was awful as always but today I coped with it a little bit better than normal. Yes I was cranky when I woke up but normally I let that mood influence me into not wanting to do anything else. Today, instead of telling myself I don't want to go to school, I told myself the truth. I told my self I want to go to school but I also wanted to sleep good. It's just a good lesson to remember when you wake up from a horrible nights sleep that you wanted to do things and you're just cranky from sleeping bad. In other words, you might have slept like crap but you should still want to do those things. It might be harder than normal to do what is required of you and you might even perform more poor than normal because of the consequences of sleep deprivation but you should still want to do what you planned on doing and just do your best, even if you had one of those horrible nights.
Hopefully I can start sleeping better. I've decided to take action and I've talked to my mom about just getting my physical done earlier this year than normal to see if I could get blood tests done to see if theres something wacko in my system and even if there's not, them I know it's likely a psychological problem contributing to my sleep problems. I also talked to her about taking advantage of those 5 free sessions. We haven't finalized plans and just barely touched on it but it's moving in the right direction.
But untill I have finalized plans I'm just going to remember what this whole journal post was about. I have things I want to do and when I don't feel like doing them after a shitty nights sleep, it's because i'm cranky. I still want to do those things.

Good for you. I still struggle with bad nights but I do my best. I\'m glad you have talked to your mom about getting some testing and counseling sessions done. I\'m rooting for you!
