INR level

Oh good grief, now my INR is a whopping 3.1, so the doctor recommends I only take 7.5 of my coumadin tonight and go back to my 10 MG tomorrow night , then back to 7.5 etc..... I can tell im in for a adventure. On another note I found out today my Hubby is scheduled for multi level back fusion surgery on February 11, I will try to remember to take my laptop with me to keep you all posted on how were both doing, as I'm sure I'm going to be on the INR checks every week for a bit until my INR levels out. I did notice with the high dose of Coumadin i was on I can't remember ch*t. It was so bad I went in to take a shower this morning took my watch off then went to take my top off and looked down at my arm and thought "Oh my goodness I must have broken my watchband cause my watch is missing". Good Grief I just took it off not even 30 seconds before that and laid it on the bathroom counter. I sure hope my brain function returns soon.Also I found out something intersting tonight. I went to a first responders meeting. I found out that the wak mart that the Sunday incident occured at was offered CPR classes for all their employees and a free AED if they took the class. Wal-Mart discourages their employees to participate in CPR or First aid classes because of liability issues. I amlmost came unglued when I heard that.That at least explains why Wal Mart didn't know where their AED was, because they didn't have one period. I don't know if we would have been able to save that woman if we had access to an AED or not, All I know is she Did indeed die from a sudden heart attack and thats what AED's are for.
