Initiate Phase One
Tomorrow I start my 2 week pre-op liquid diet. And I'm ready. I think. I'm ready, right? I have so many emotions bubbling up tonight. I'm happy, excited, sad, nervous, etc. I feel a bit crazed!I'm out the door in a few moments for a meeting at church. On the way home, think I'm going to pick up one last treat...a piece of cheesecake. Until tomorrow, pulling out the blender and dusting it off...

Good luck on the liquid diet. I will have to start mine very soon. I\'m already having all the same emotions you are. Part of me is relieved that I won\'t have to have any food in the house, won\'t have to worry what to eat. The other part is scared that I cant do it, sad I can\'t have my favorite foods any more and definately can\'t binge. I know you will get through this just fine though, and so will I when the time comes. We just have to learn other ways of dealing with emotions. Let us know how it\'s going. God bless, Ina
Hi Scrappy hun,
Today you start for the final hurdle before surgery, It was not so hard for me having to do a week milk only diet. I did not crave anything and stayed focused throughout knowing it would make surgery easier and less complicated.
You might feel as you loose weight, I can loose so much weight do I really need surgery? I did. But longterm diets dont work.
Keep your eye on the hurdle, your stronger than you think you are. Stay focused... it will fly by..
Good luck huney. Be good...be Successful lol
Loves ya.
Shuffle along the losers bench guys we need room for another soon to be little one....

Girl, I remember those days! I felt so proud of myself to be starting a new healthy adventure that I was doing just for me, and wanted to do everything by the rules so that my efforts would pay off. Well, I went by the rules, and 7 1/2 mos later, I am at my goal weight.
You honestly get out of this process exactly what you put in to it. I was a food fanatic, measuring, checking the glycemic scale, reading every internet article I could find. I grew to love exercise and the wonderful hush feeling that walking alone in the morning can bring. And my self esteem grew taller than I am!
Join me in the rewards that this surgery can bring! I can\'t wait to hear about your disappearing health issues, your problems along the journey, and your pride at losing weight. Good for you girl, give it your all!
