Infant Loss - Before Birth and Early Loss

I am sorry for your loss. I understand it will hurt forever. Some of my friends have told me that they have had people say maybe they should not be so sad because they only had their child for a very short time, many of them lost their children before they were even born. I know you loved your child(ren) sometimes years before they were concieved or born. I know because I did. You dreamed of how it would be, what they would look like, imagined holding them in your arms, watching them at play, so many dreams. This is a poem I hope might bring you comfortI REMEMBER YOUThe world may never notice If a rosebud doesn't bloom: Or even pause to wonder if the petals fall too soon.But every life that ever forms, Or ever comes to be Touches the World in some small way For all eternity.The little ones we longed for Were swiftly here and gone.
