Indecisive
Once again, I'm going through some seasonal and holidays issues. It's cooler outside and darker much sooner (hate DST) so those are factors too. The past two years I've gone to Belize for part of the winter - but as I usually do, I am having trouble making up my mind when. I also should go see my 90ish parents and other family in IN so that adds to my indecisiveness. Problem is too many people there to fit into a schedule - at least that's my 'excuse'.
To make it more complex I have a lady friend in Brazil and I am considering going there for weeks or months. I looked into the complex process but fretted when I learned I had to get a Visa. They don't make it easy but I jumped in and it worked out. What helped is doing a daily 15-minute Chopra meditation.
It's a long way to Brazil - 18 hours in flights and a 6-hour time difference. sighhhhh. I've been looking at flights and finally have decided I can afford to go business class so that would help ease the discomfort of long flights. The problem is when to go and come back. I also fret about meeting her and where I will stay, etc. Also, can my HSP deal with the noisy atmisphere in Rio? And then there's the guilt of not going to IN. sighhhh
I know I am fortunate I have time and money to do whatever I want. It's just this crazy fretting. I call it analysis-paralysis. Afraid to make a decision because I fear it isn't the 'right' one. So I sit. sighhhhh
Yes, I know - JUST DO IT.
