Incognito for November
As many of you know, I'm a writer. Mostly I write sci-fi space opera and fantasy. 5 novels published, along with one anthology of my short stories and two non-fiction books, one of which most of you know, Healing Infidelity.
That's not primarily what I wanted to relate. The bulk of those novels were written during what is called "National Novel Writing Month." During November, writers from all over the world attempt to write a novel of 50,000 words or more and track their progress on a website with all their friends. I've participated in this since 2006, only missing one year.
As a matter of fact, I'm currently editing the novel I wrote last November, hoping to have it on its way to the printer by the 31st (not sure I'm going to make that deadline). Then during November, I'll be working hard to write that novel.
What that means is I won't have much time to be here that much now through November, or when I'm done with my novel, whichever comes first. So if you notice I'm suddenly not responding much, you'll know why. And that I'll be back in due time. I will get notices on any PMs and will respond to those. So if you think there is something on the forums that deserves my attention or have a question you want me to respond to, feel free to PM me.
And if you are interested, I'll be keeping a daily log of my progress on the novel at my blog:
