IN-VISION

Hello Soth - Yesterday I went to church and while our pastor is away on a mission trip, Dr. Rob Spina was the pastor of the day at my church. He has written a book "Picture Perfect". He spoke about envision but as he calls it In-Vision. How we see ourselves inside affects our life and decisions we make. If we were raised with "you will never do anything", or "you will always be poor", or "this is just the way it is"...To look inside yourself and change the way you see yourself and most importantly, how God sees you. God sees you, perfect, created in His image. There is so much more that he talked about and gave so many scriptures of people ""seeing" before it actually happened. Having faith that God is in control and staying in that moment whatever that might be.....
I found it very uplifting and made me think. How do I see myself inside? How do I "in-vision" myself and what can I change to not only find my purpose in life but be more at peace with choices I have made and continue to make. Something to think about for sure.
This week-end I will be driving to Fresno (322 miles) to see my grandson, Hunter. It is always bitter-sweet to see him and leaving is always tough. I am grateful I'm able to drive up there if only for 2 days...I'm hoping to spend some alone time with him and just love on him (as much as you can on a 13 y/o)..LOL
As always, I continually pray for all of you - strength, peace, love, healing, joy in the midst of the pain..
Have a great week - (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))) and then more (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))) Vicki

Wow, what an inspiring post! I\'m also struggling with \"who I am\", and \"what my goal in this life\" is. The worst part for me is also to make peace with the choices I\'ve made in the past. Thank you so much for sharing this post with us!

I\'ll be pondering this one for sure. One thing I do know is that the human dilemma is that we are often our own worst critic and would never judge another by our super-human standards. I am trying to go much easier on myself these days and can feel the difference both within and without. A work in progress indeed.

Oh, give that Hunter lots of loves and even though they act like they \"can\'t handle it\" they adore it! LOL! Your presence in his life matters as his does in yours. Travel safely my friend.

Hoping your work week is going well and sending along a hug and some love added into the mix. I remember October being kind of a crazy month as a teacher. The sugar high began even though Halloween was at the end of the month. LOL! Every year my students needed to know what I was going to be? The year I was a pig, with a pig nose, ears, nipples, you name it I was wearing it I had a \"pig size\" headache when I got home because one of my team members had put this glue type stuff inside the nose to keep it on my face and Lord knows what I was \"inhaling\" all day long. LOL! Oh, the memories!

Love your way dear Vicki and always remembering your bright light named Jennifer. Deeply loved and sorely missed, I know my friend, I know...

Ahhh...so very true of the human nature...and we have been \"programed\" to see ourselves in a certain way. His message is a good reminder that we are just right in God\'s eyes.

I hope your visit with Hunter is \"just right\" too. I truly understand the visit being bittersweet...I experience that with Evie too.

Love and big hugs...Karen

Thanks for sharing the uplifting experience you had at church. How we see ourself inside can really effect our life & decisions. By trying to view ourself as God does would have nothing but a good effect on us.

Have fun with Hunter....I imagine he\'s looking forward to your visit as much as you are. : )

LOVE this......IN-VISION!!! YES! I so get it!!!! I was told for a long time that I was nothing, unlovable.... It was a long, hard road to SEEing my worth, but I am in full vision now! Not perfect, but walking toward \"better\" every day. I DO have value and worth, and I am lovable!!

Thank you for sharing this uplifting and inspiring message!
