in Toronto for the assessment

I've been neglecting things here lately.....so much to deal with. I am at my daughter's for the week.....i have tests and appointments everyday for the transplant assessment, hubby brought me down and set up all my equipment today. Tomorrow Jenn and I will head over to the hospital so she can show me how to get back on the streetcar (so I dont get lost) lol
My BIL had a seizure a week ago and they found a tumor (benign) but it was near his speech centre so he is having some difficulty with his speech......lots of drama from his wife. She works for the hospital and he is a truck driver, they make very good money and the both have benefits through their jobs and she is moaning about money because he isnt working....oh yeah she inherited the family farm, which they sold for mega bucks.....try walking in our shoes for awhile.....self employed no benefits and with all my health issues......whine whine whine!          Sorry enough negativity!!!!!
My daughter and I found an apartment here for the first of May.....I am assuming I will be accepted to the transplant program....if not we will have to help her with the rent until she can find a room mate. There is so much going on I think I have sort of shut down and am only dealing with what is right in front of me at the moment. i have been checking in here but haven't commented much to much to think about.
The puppies have started to leave.....three of them so far, as of today. I have pictures to post one day soon I hope.
i brought all the forms with me for disability....I will have lots of time to fill them out while I'm here....all they can do is say no right. There are two different ones I can apply for one is provincial and one is federal and I could possibly get something from each of them....I am hoping it would be enough for basic living expenses here in the big city....cuz it sooore ain't cheap!!!!
Well thats it for now....have to give the daughter her laptop back....lol

Beth: I haven\'t been popping in much either...please accept my most sincere wishes for a successful transplant, if that is decided for you. I\'ve been in fairly good health of late...but whining to myself about this and that. For instance the dishwasher hasn\'t been working righht (not draining)...I tried to fix it..still not working rightnd I whine to myself. Know what? In the overall scheme of things what difference does it make if the damn thing never works...... We get so caught up with thingts that don\'t matter...........and people such as the ones you mentione

Best of Luck, Beth.. hope all comes out well for you.. as for oxfordns, screw the damn dishwasher and use it for a drain to put you clean dishes in.. then you can put them away at your leisure and no one will see them ! Thirsty bath towel in the bottom of the dishwasher since it wont drain ! Peace to you Both , feather

I thought it was time for you assessment. Glad that hubby got you all set up and that Jenn is going to make sure you can get back and forth without getting lost! I do hope all goes well. And I hope that you get the disability. My SIL was automatically entitled to disability when she had to go on dialysis. Of course, she had her transplant July 3, 2011 of last year and is doing well. Don\'t know if she still receives the disability or not. I know that her one big complaint is not being able to eat at a buffet anymore because they don\'t want her to be exposed to the germs.
With you in spirit and sending you lots of love and energy.

Peace, Love and Hugs

Wow Beth, I have been out of the loop. Didn\'t know it was so soon. Which hospital are you going to be in? If I get to Toronto, I could come and visit you. Fingers crossed that you do get accepted. Hope you were able to get the apartment for a good price. We you get a chance, message me with the details and as I said I\'ll try to come down and visit you. either at the hospital or the apartment.
Please keep me posted.
Hugs and love Nance

Missed so much with not being up to things now I feel very selfish.... Always does well to get an ass licking for missing a friends updates like Naice. Take care of yourself and get them forms filled out. Focus yourself on you. Ypu are in. My thought and I will ask the angels to watch over to and guide you through this testing time.

My dear I will surely give extra prayers to our Lord that he may hold your hand & guide you thru this difficult time. I think it\'s important at this time that you focus on your major issues & if certain other things need to be put on the back burner then so be it. I know we here will totally understand. You have to focus on you right now I think. You go ahead & whine all you need to. I know I for one have pretty big shoulders & thats part of what I\'m almost always avail for.
