In the Hospital

I knowits hard to think of being back in the hospital as positive but at least I'm no longer home slowly bleeding to death. The bleeding from my colonoscopy got a lot worse by Sunday afternoon so called the ER. I was told I needed to get right in so I did. Guess somewhere from wednesdays INR check and Sunday evening my INR went from 1.9 to 3.9 which was inhibiting the healing process from the colonoscopy and having the polyps removed. The took me off all blood thinners for the time being to see if maybe that would stop the bleeding and so far it seems to be working. MY INR is currently sitting at 3.0 and I have pretty much stopped bleeding internally. The Gastro doc really doesn't wantto go back in and recauterize me as we will be looking at the same thing we have gone through twice before now. So here I sit in the hospital where they can watch me and stabalize my INR and hopefully let me heal. If all goes well I might get to eat some soft food tomorrow. Gads I sure hope so................... I am so hungry..................I even tried bribing my daughter into making me a big pan of homemde lasaguana but she merely frowned at me. OH well she was extra tired today as she also went to a special confrence at OMG thirty this morning on Trauma. My daughter wrks as a physicians substitute and an EMT and is going to college to get her degree as trauma RN nurse with an assocoates degree. I keep wondering where she gets her smarts from, must be her Dad's side. Anyway here I sit drinking my liquids thinking of lasaguana.HUGSFerr
