In the beginning.....

Not sure where to start.  My husband cheated on me.  My husband cheated on me.  I have to keep saying it because it seems so inconceivable.  Sometimes I think I say it to torment myself.
I want the images in my head to go away.  Some real fom what he told me, some imagined.
I could say I want things back to before, but that wouldn't be completely accurate either. Some things were good,, some were bad.  I mean how else would we have gotten here if things weren't a screwed up royal mess?
I can't decide from one moment to the next how I feel.  Hurt, angry, disappointed, guilty, sad, or just numb.
I love my husband.  Am I an idiot?  I love my husband.
How much of this do I own? and what do I need to do to do my part in fixing it?

You are not an idiot for loving your husband! We all do stupid things but loving someone is usually not the dumbest thing we have ever done. You are in my heart and prayers.

It is understandable, all those feelings, and unfortunately they are here to stay a while, and rent some free space in your head and heart.

Now what you do with them, will make the difference.
