in spite of it all....

i have felt that this building project has gone slowly until i realized that we have only been working on it for three weeks. in three weeks, we have laid down the floor joists; the floor decking; all the walls have gone up; the trusses put in place; the roof decking nailed down; the shingles laid; and now ready for insulated sheathing and windows......WOW! i guess in spite of all the rain....some 7+ inches....in spite of all the cold days.....in spite of having to run to the lumber yard....in spite of it all....we have managed to come a long ways in a relatively short amount of time......
