In Portugal
Hello Community,
Mickie and I are in Portugal. We have been here for 4 days. We are staying at the Albatrox Seafront hotel in Cascais. (Cascais is about a 30 minute drive from Lisbon.) Mickie and I finally broke down and bought smartphones and I am still dealing with moving the pictures to the computer then uploading them to DS.
We have spent most of our time eating seafood (and having beer and Port), walking the beach promenade, and strolling the narrow cobblestone streets. it has been a most relaxing time.
We connected to BA from AA at Heathrow. (I have been going to Heathrow since I was`10 years old...They we building/constructing then and they are still building/constructing!) It took us 2 hours to clear passport control and we had to wait 1 hour to catch a taxi to the airport Marriott. We spent the night at the Marriott and flew BA to Lisbon the next day. I must say the English equivalent to the TSA agent is much more polite and much less abusive.
Mickie starts here conference this evening 06/24/12. In three days we are off to Lisbon.
I have really enjoyed watching the UEFA games. We go to a local bar to watch the games. We enjoy the excitement of the crowds.

As Caring1 said \" enjoy every minute that you have with loved ones\". Make wonderful memories and take lots of pictures. So that when you get old and can\'t remember anything you can look at the pictures!! haha Just joking....
