In need of help from any of my friends....
I don't know why, but lately I've been sabotaging myself CONSTANTLY. I've been rollercoasting for months between doing fabulous, working out daily and eating perfectly. Then I just crash off and fall into a hole, but I don't just land there. I dig my hole deeper by eating more and exercising less..... Why would I do this to myself? I have been overweight my entire life and all I've ever wanted was to be average, normal. I know that I can do it... if I JUST DO IT! I've already lost 80, you would think, being over the hump, that my struggles would be less and less and not as if I never lost anything. I lose 10lbs just to gain 7 of that back (I'm not sure if that's exact, but I do something like that) so really I only lost 3. Granted I still lost, but I could be doing it so much faster than what I am.... *sigh* I really need to do some thinking and dig deep within myself to find the power to STFU and do it....

you need to do this slowly....why dont you try adding to your diet as it stands...adding little things of what you really want to have...that way ok so the weight loss wont be fantastic...but it will be gradual and steady....no way being on a diet means you have to stop eating all the foods you enjoy....maybe alter what you are eating. I have a small chocolate bar, and baked packet of crisps (chips) nearly everyday and still lose on average 3 pounds a week...and thats because im not telling myself i cant eat them...ive simply changed the type i eat....so now eating the baked kind...not ones that have been fried, and eating small chocolate bar...like snack size for kids lunch boxe ones...not family size bars....small changes. some people i know....they let themselves have a glass of wine in evening, or sauces with dinner, little thing go a long way....when really this is a long term goal...a life style change....not a crash plan to lose 4 pounds to go on holiday or something...and that is what we need to remember....we need to make changes that we can stick to....not telling ourselves will never eat this or that ever again!!!
I know what you mean about exercise....but seriously...put all your energy in getting out there and doing some exercise.....after you will feel better...but you need that emotional get up and go...to push yoursekf out the door to get it done.
Here if you want to talk xx
It is a lifetime struggle and it is has to be something that you work hard on EVERY SINGLE DAY. there are no days off, no vacations from this. Food is our addiction and just like any other addict, it needs to be an issue on our minds daily. Focus focus focus and embrace your life change. There is no turning back. You can do this.
