in my scoliosis type life?

Today I found this site while searching Scoliosis Support.I haven't looked for anything of this sort for quite a while. I find that I have been curious lately if there are other aging seniors at my place in life. As an introduction: I was told I have rotary scoliosis when I was 17, forty years ago. Exercise was the only treatment option offered to me. I was told my degree of curve, somewhere between 23-32 (I don't remember) didn't justify surgery because it would be cosmetic, and at 17 I was grown and a brace wouldn't help at all. I got xrays every 6 months for 2 years, to insure the curve wasn't increasing. Since it was stable I was sent on my way with a list of general exercises to do, maybe to include swimming or tennis. I only swam for fun, not laps or anything. Never got into tennis. The exercises I did were from the "Royal Canadian Mounties Exercise" book. I wasn't really good at keeping a routine going with that. As a kid I didn't really have any physical pain from scoliosis, it was the emotional pain that got me. My self-confidence suffered, ever aware that I had a crooked back. At a critical time in my feminine life I was not normal, curvy beautiful like my friends, I was crooked. One hip stuck out more than the other, One rib side more prominent, One back side more humped. I knew everyone could tell, especially guys, so I fell short in the boyfriend department too. This added to my insecurities. I dressed to hide middle as best I could. I tried to ignore it, but always thought about it. OK, thats enough of the history for now. Now I have more of a continuing health concern. I haven't had lifelong treatment, surgery or anything for my back. I've stayed relatively fit with aerobics classes and such to keep minor pain from becoming major pain. But as I am getting older I now have neck pain that I believe could be associated somewhat with my spinal curve. My neck seems to be leaning toward the right. I am afraid my curve is changing. I don't know what to expect from aging with my scoliosis or if there is anything I can do to help myself. Initiating my search...thinking...
